Terms of use

1. Tero and these terms

Tero is published by Aymen Kadri, based in Paris 15th arrondissement, France. These terms describe use of Tero’s website, macOS application and associated online features. The service is currently in development. Public authentication, payments and distribution are being prepared; a demo or development build does not establish that a feature is publicly available. Contact aymen@teroflow.app with questions.

2. Access and accounts

Use Tero only where you can enter a valid agreement under applicable law, or with the permission of a legal guardian where required. Some online features require an account and internet access. Provide accurate account information and protect access to your sign-in provider, email and Mac. You are responsible for activities you authorise through your account. Contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Permission to use Tero

Subject to these terms, you may install and use Tero for your own lawful personal or business activities. Tero’s software, branding and website remain the property of their respective owners. Third-party and open-source components retain their own licences. Nothing here limits rights to interoperability, reverse engineering or other activities that applicable law expressly permits.

4. Your content and permitted use

You retain your rights in the content you supply. You authorise processing and transmission to the service providers needed to perform requested online actions, as explained in the privacy policy. Share only content you have permission to process. Do not use Tero to break the law, infringe others’ rights, distribute malware, access accounts without authorisation, bypass usage or payment controls, or disrupt the service. Provider acceptable-use requirements may also apply to the corresponding online features.

5. AI results and actions on your Mac

AI suggestions can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable, and similar results may be produced for other users. Review outputs and suggested actions before using them, especially when changing files, sending content, or creating events and reminders. Keep backups of important files. Tero does not guarantee that AI output is unique, copyrightable or free of third-party rights. Its results do not replace qualified professional advice for decisions requiring legal, medical, financial or other expertise.

6. Free usage and paid plans

Available plans and usage limits are shown in the product and, for a purchase, at checkout. Online allowances can be limited and are not a promise of unlimited AI usage. When enabled, paid subscriptions are processed by Paddle under the checkout terms presented to you. The checkout must state the price, currency, taxes, billing interval and renewal conditions before purchase. You can manage an available subscription through the billing portal. Cancellation normally stops renewal at the end of the current paid period, subject to the terms shown at purchase and applicable law. These terms do not activate paid purchases that are not yet available in the product.

7. Refunds and consumer rights

Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights, including applicable conformity guarantees, cancellation, withdrawal or refund rights. Any request to start supplying a paid digital service immediately, and any legally permitted effect on withdrawal rights, must be explained and agreed to separately at checkout where required. Refund requests can be made through the purchase support channel or aymen@teroflow.app. The applicable checkout and mandatory law determine eligibility.

8. Availability, suspension and liability

Features depend on macOS permissions, third-party applications and external providers. Availability and compatibility may change, and development builds may contain errors. We may restrict online access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security issues, non-payment or legal obligations, with notice where feasible. You may stop using Tero and request account deletion. Deleting an account does not itself cancel a subscription; manage cancellation through billing or contact support. Liability is governed by applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.

9. Changes and disputes

Material changes to these terms will be communicated before they apply where required. Changes do not remove rights already acquired for a purchase. Contact aymen@teroflow.app to seek a resolution to a dispute. Applicable mandatory consumer law and court rights remain available. French law governs these terms, without depriving consumers of the mandatory protections available in their country of habitual residence. Consumers retain the right to bring a claim before the courts available under applicable law.
