Getting started
Select text or files and run your first Tero action.
Your first action
Select text in an app or downloaded files in Finder, then press ⌘\. Tero suggests six relevant actions in two pages of three. The suggestions use your selection, its type and the context available from the app. Choose an action to continue.
Select: hey lets grab a coffe tomorow → CorrectFind an action
Click the magnifying glass or press ⌘F, then type an action name. Use the arrow keys to select a match and Enter to open it. The available actions depend on your selection.
Choices and navigation
Choose a language, format or other option with the arrow keys and Enter, or click a bubble. Search helps you navigate longer lists. Escape clears the search first, then takes you back.
Writing versus reading
In a supported writing field, Tero checks the selection again before replacing it with the result. Elsewhere, the result opens in a card to read or copy. Sending a message remains up to you.
Try Correct on a draft, then on a paragraph on a web page.Open without a selection
Press ⌘\ with nothing selected to open Ask, Clipboard and My habits. Custom habit creation is still in preparation.
Permissions
Allow Accessibility access so Tero can read selections and interact with supported fields. Calendar and Reminders ask for access when you use them. Manage permissions in System Settings under Privacy & Security.
