Find a shortcut or troubleshoot a selection, permission or file action.
Keyboard reference
Open Tero with ⌘\. Use arrows to choose an action or option, Enter to confirm and Escape to go back or close. ⌘F searches actions. In Clipboard, ⌘K opens actions and ⌘P pins a copy. Supported result and input views use ⌘C to copy and ⌘R to refine or regenerate.
Tero sees no selection
Check Tero’s Accessibility permission, select the content again and press the shortcut from the source app. Some surfaces do not expose selected text. Protected password fields are excluded.
A result cannot replace text
The source field or selection may have changed, or the app may not expose an editable target. Read or copy the result instead. Tero checks the target again before pasting. Undo depends on the source app.
Office conversion is unavailable
Install LibreOffice on your Mac and download the source file before converting it. Office conversion runs locally.
Calendar or Reminders access is missing
Choose the Calendar or Reminders action to trigger its permission request. Then check the corresponding entry in System Settings under Privacy & Security. Tero appears there after requesting access.
A file action failed
Check that the file is downloaded and readable, and that you can write to the destination. Also check for an existing file with the proposed output name. If a batch stops partway through, inspect Finder to see which files completed.
Download and updates
The first downloadable 0.0.1 beta is being prepared. A public DMG and automatic app updates are not available yet. Follow the changelog for release news.
